{Good Eats} Guacamole

Guacamole… I don’t think there’s a better dip/sauce/whatever you want to call it in the world. For the longest time, I refused to eat it, I thought it was gross and kind of reminded me of that icky green ketchup stuff. Anyways, that’s all changed, and I’m so glad. It’s good on just about anything! My friends have been asking for my recipe, and honestly, once I have the basic ingredients, I guestimate on how much of each to use, but here goes:

*Disclaimer: I definitely can’t take responsibility for this recipe… My masterchef of a dad came up with it, and deserves full credit!

Ingredients:

2 avocados {The ripeness totally determines how good it will be. The riper the better, but not brown}

2 Roma tomatoes

1 small onion

1 jalapeno

1 lime {for juice}

2 tsp cayenne pepper {to taste}

Salt {to taste- definitely don’t go light on it, second to avocado ripeness, salt makes all the difference}

Pepper

*All of these ingredients can be adjusted to what you like, there’s no set ratio, whatever you think tastes good! This is just my preference…

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together, serve with your favorite chips and margarita of choice!
